In September, we are changing the topic and will have two amazing Speakers:

Dr. Zyta Ziora is a globally recognised researcher in antimicrobial drug development, listed among the world’s top 2% scientists (Stanford-Elsevier 2024). She has published over 100 papers (h-index 34), including five Highly Cited by Web of Science. Her work spans antibiotic enhancement, nature-derived therapeutics, and circular economy solutions. She is a Chief Investigator in the ARC IITC CEA StAR program and recipient of multiple Australian Government grants. Dr. Zyta lectures in Biotechnology at University of Queensland and leads the Healthcare & Biotechnology theme at the UQ-IITD Academy.

Presentation topic: "Exploring the power of nature and my passion for research".

Dr. Kinga Szymaniak is a Senior Research Officer at the CADE clinic and is involved in various research and academic projects. As a research psychologist, she takes part in clinical assessments conducted at the clinic and works collaboratively with the CADE team to provide guidance on the diagnosis and management of mood disorders. Her work explores how emotions - especially anger - shape cognition and motivation. She also has a strong interest in mood disorders and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Presentation topic: "It is all about emotions: A research journey from psychology of anger into studies of mental health"

Polish Food Networking Event – “POLAND TASTES GOOD”, is taking place during Fine Food Australia in Sydney.

A delegation of Polish food companies, together with National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR), will be attending Fine Food (8–11 September, ICC Sydney). Poland will be showcasing its delicious, natural, and thoughtfully crafted Polish food products at the national stand (L16–M15, in the Flavours of the World section). You’re warmly invited to stop by and explore what Polish producers have to offer.

As part of the mission, Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) is also organizing a Networking Evening – “POLAND TASTES GOOD”. It will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the growing trade relationship between Poland and Australia, connect with key industry players from both countries, and discover the exceptional quality and creativity of Polish food producers.
